Why Careerium exists
Careerium was built to make professional resume creation accessible to everyone. Creating a resume and downloading a PDF requires no account or credit card. Saving to your account, importing resumes, matching job keywords and managing application versions require sign-in.

Practical explanations
Our guides explain resume sections, application preparation and Careerium features through examples. Example text is illustrative: adapt it to your own experience. Guides do not guarantee interviews or employment.
Sources and responsibility
Content is published under the Careerium name. Product explanations reflect existing features. Our approach is to reference sources for information about external systems in the relevant article and distinguish interpretations from verifiable information.
Updates and corrections
Articles display a publication date and an update date when the content changes. Feature changes and reported errors are reasons to review content. If you find incomplete or outdated information, send us the article link and your suggested correction.
How our resume tools work
Current import, job matching and writing suggestions use rules, skill dictionaries and prepared examples. These operations do not send your resume to a generative AI service.
Resume import
Text is extracted from text-based PDFs in your browser; the file is not uploaded for extraction. You can also paste text. Headings and text patterns produce suggested fields. PDFs are limited to 10 MB and 10 pages; scanned images are not processed with OCR.
Review extracted fields before applying them. Complex columns or unusual headings may cause missing or incorrect fields; the original document design is not imported.
Job matching
The tool identifies skills recognized by its dictionary in the job description and compares them with your resume. The percentage is matched skills divided by recognized skills in the description.
It is not an ATS score, an assessment of every job requirement or a hiring probability. Skills outside the dictionary may not be assessed.
Resume completeness and writing help
Checks look at fields such as basic details, education, contributions or experience, summary and skills. Writing help provides prepared examples you can adapt.
Completeness does not measure accuracy or professional ability. Only use examples that reflect your real experience.
Resume versions and saving
Application versions are separate copies of your resume content and settings. Resumes saved to your account and versions are stored in the cloud; the editor draft is stored in your browser.
Versions do not automatically translate or rewrite a resume for a job. Save your changes before switching resumes.
Templates and PDF
Your details are placed in the selected template and exported as a PDF. Template choice, text length and section layout affect readability.
ATS platforms differ; we cannot guarantee identical parsing or acceptance across every system. Review your PDF before applying.
Contact and support
Contact us for product questions, bug reports and content corrections. Include the page link and steps that led to the issue. Do not send passwords or unnecessary personal resume details.
