Another way to look for work

Tell us what work
you’re looking for.

You spend time browsing job listings. What if you could write one of your own? On Careerium, describe the work you want to do and let interested teams reach out to you.

A little about you. A little about the work.

Think of a job-seeker listing as a short introduction. Bring together the work you have done, the things you are good at and the kind of team you would like to join. Start with a few clear sentences.

For example, you might start with…
“I’ve been working as a frontend developer for three years. I’m looking for a remote role with a team that cares about user experience.”

This is just an example. Your listing will tell your own story.

What happens next?

  1. Start with the work you want to do.

Which roles interest you? What can you do? Would you prefer remote work or an office? These are the details to share in your listing. Add your experience if you have it; if you are looking for your first job, talk about your skills and what you want to learn.

You can attach a Careerium resume or upload your own PDF. If you need a resume, create one in the editor.

  2. When it feels ready, submit it for review.

After verifying your email, preview your listing and check the details you are sharing. Once reviewed and approved, it becomes visible to signed-in Careerium users for 30 days. You can edit it or pause it whenever you need a break.

  3. When a team wants to connect, you choose.

A team that sees your listing can send a contact request describing their opportunity. Read their message and decide whether it interests you. If you accept, both of you can see each other’s verified account email and continue the conversation there.

A few things you might be wondering

What is a job-seeker listing?

It is a listing created by someone looking for work to share their experience, skills, target roles and work preferences. Teams on Careerium can review these listings and send contact requests to people they would like to meet.

Do I need an account to publish or explore listings?

Yes. Sign in to your Careerium account to create a listing or explore candidates. You verify your email for the job-seeker feature before submitting a listing for review or sending a contact request.

Which resume can I attach?

Choose a publicly shared Careerium resume from your account or upload your own PDF of up to 3 MB. A resume is optional. If you need one, you can create it in the Careerium editor.

When does my listing go live and how long does it last?

Your submission is reviewed before publication. Once approved, it stays live for 30 days. You can edit, pause or delete it from your listing page. After expiry, confirm that your details are current to renew it.

Who can see my contact details?

Phone numbers, email addresses and links are not included in listing text. When you accept a contact request, both parties can see each other’s verified account email. An attached resume may contain contact details; resumes shared with approved listings can be viewed by signed-in users.

Can I create a listing without work experience?

Yes. You can leave work experience empty and describe your skills, target roles and work preferences. You can also create a listing for internships or your first job.
